Description
The Diesel Site CFIKD98 Coolant Filtration System will remove any solid particles in the antifreeze in your 1998.5-2004 Dodge 5.9L Diesel. Most diesel engines use sand in the casting process that is generally not entirely removed. Over time, a lot of this sand seeps out of the casting and damages hoses, water pump seals, and radiators. Also, anti- cavitation supplemental coolant additives (SCAs) can often create very abrasive fragments. Removal of these particulates can significantly improve your water pump life.
The Diesel Site CFIKD98 Coolant Filtration System will give the protection your cooling systems need from these abrasive materials. This bypass-style kit filters a small amount of the coolant on each pass. It is easy to change your coolant filter at regular intervals as this kit utilizes a spin on filter. This kit includes a CNC-machined aluminum filter block, custom bracket and all the hoses & fittings you need for installation.
