Locate boost leaks in your vehicle with the Diesel Site DSBLC4 4" Turbo Boost Leak Detector from XDP. Connect this device to the inlet of the turbocharger and pressurize with a standard compressor. You can even hear the smallest of leaks within seconds. Make sure this tool will mount to your turbo by measuring the outside diameter of the inlet of the turbo.

Solid product, only thing it needs to improve would be a obtuse angle fitting for the air compressor instead of the straight one that’s included. The straight air compressor fitting doesn’t allow for enough room to put it on the turbo of a 4th gen Dodge Ram Diesel properly. I had to put the coupler slanted halfway on turbo and use hose clamp to try and get a good seal. Was still able to find the boost leak on my truck.

Hard to get an air hose on the fitting. Needs a 90 degree fitting to help. Product worked once I put the fitting on. Would also work if you just took the oil filter off

Very good product was easy to use. The overall build quality looked good. Helped me find multiple boost leaks so it did its job. A note when using it, you will need to use the clamp that holds your intake currently on, or buy one, if you don't have the original one. Also ran into an issue with clearance on my 5.9L Cummins(3rd gen HO) but was easily fixed by removing the oil filter so my air hose can connect to their QD fitting. Might be possible to change the setup a bit and include a 90-degree, but likely best to just do this during an oil change.
