The metal is a lot more malleable than the OEM clamps when you finally get the clamp around the two flanges it’s almost impossible to get the bolt back into the clamp by hand because the metal bent and now you’re fighting that. With the limited space you have to work with, I’d hope things like this would be kept in mind.
