Description
Keep your ride comfortable with the Dorman 905-509 Torsion
Bar Mount. On independent front suspension trucks such as the Chevy/GMC Duramax,
the suspension uses a torsion spring instead of a coil spring like solid axle
trucks would have. The torsion bar mount attaches to the frame on either side
and then attaches the torsion bar crossmember. Over time through dirt, dust,
grime, and road salt these mounts can deteriorate and break, resulting in them
needing to be replaced. The torsion bar bracket will work on both passenger or
driver side and are sold individually with hardware included for reinstallation.
