The Firestone 2250 Ride-Rite Air Bag Helper Springs for your 01-10 GM 2500HD/3500HD Pickup will provide load support through the use of air pressure that can be adjusted for changing loads. Mounting between the frame and suspension of your truck, these Air Bag Helper Springs will enhance ride characteristics by reducing inter-leaf friction. The easy-to-adjust bags feature individual inflation valves that allow for separate side-to-side or front to rear adjustment, these will keep your truck level when carrying off-center loads. These heavy-duty convoluted air springs will handle all leveling needs with load carrying capacities between 3,200-5,000 lbs per set. Each air spring is pressure tested before leaving the factory.

Very good grade of material used on the air bags and steel attachments. Install time says 2 hrs, but that's probably with a lift...Not on a creeper with a jack. Right side with the muffler is pretty tough to get to but take your time and raise the frame up as high as you can. Air lines come rolled up, they are hard plastic so they stay rolled up. Lay them out in the sun and put some weights on them to help straighten them out a little. Overall easy install, but if you can get to a lift it will be much easier. Great product.

Great way to level out your truck when you're loaded down. Easiest install ever, and the lifetime warranty on the bags is a nice extra, as well. The hoses are quick connect, and can be removed if need be. I'll probably add the on board compressor and gauge at some point as well.

If the truck has 4” of lift in the rear of the vehicle, you would require a 4” air bag spacer.
