Description
The Fleece FPE-SF-CUMM-2010 SureFlo Performance Sending Unit is a massive upgrade over the draw straw in your 2010 Dodge 6.7L Diesel. If you're using a frame-rail mounted aftermarket lift pump, you'll need to drill the fuel tank to fit a sump or run a draw straw. Both methods have disadvantages, such as cavitation within the pump when air is drawn into the fuel system because the tank is less than 1/4 full.
Fleece's FPE-SF-CUMM-2010 SureFlo Performance Sending Unit is designed to operate with aftermarket lift pumps. The factory-style quick disconnects attach to the stock fuel lines at the tank, making this direct-fit replacement sending unit simple to install with no tank modification required. This unit operates by drawing diesel from the bucket assembly at the bottom of the unit and returning it to the bucket assembly. This ensures that no air is sucked into the pump and also eliminates the possibility of 1/4 tank problems. The one-way check valves on this sending unit allow diesel to flow freely even at low fuel levels.
