Your 6.7L Powerstroke coupled with the 6R140 transmission offers a lot in reliability and performance. Calibrated Power Solutions has worked hard and spent countless hours testing to ensure that you're getting the best tuning, drivability and performance for your Powerstroke engine. Their tuning significantly outperforms the factory calibrations and maintains factory operation, and service intervals of the emissions control system. Emissions intact Only. For vehicles with all factory emissions systems. From the factory your truck is rated at 400HP and has great spoolup and driveability already from the low inertia dual compressor turbocharger. This model is one of the quickest spooling trucks that Calibrated Power has ever tuned. They respond well to throttle input while making great power on the low end. They also control smoke well without polluting the emissions systems due to the great response from the turbo. In recent tests, Calibrated Power Solutions was able to push these models to about 480RWHP. With the long shaft design of the twin compressor turbo design, Calibrated Power is very careful about how far they push the unit to avoid overspeed while keeping an eye on A/F ratio to keep regen frequency within spec. Compare this 480rwhp number to 475 that was put down with the competitors full-race 200+ HP tune and it becomes clear pretty quickly that the emissions system is not a restriction to power. 6R140 Transmission Tuning While all this power is great to have, tying it together with a tuned 6R140 will give you the best experience. The wider torque curve coupled with a quicker torque converter lockup schedule means that you'll feel the engine transfer it's new found torque efficiently to the tires starting at the top of second gear. On top of the the lockup schedule, Calibrated Power has also gone through and adjusted the shift torque management alongside the shift pressure to improve the transmissions ability to shift positively with it's new found torque. The goal is to provide the smoothest power transfer possible balance with the most efficient use of the engines powerband. It's gentle when you're taking it easy and it means business when you're on the throttle. Calibrated Power's 6R140 tuning is always active once the tune is loaded. T/H and turbine braking function is retained similar to factory function. Power Levels (DPF-Present Only): All tunes can be switched on the fly with the optional FSP5 switch without stopping or turning off the truck. All dyno numbers are actual measurements from the rear tire measured in-house at Calibrated Power Solutions on their MD500 Mustang Dyno. Optimized Stock (+25 RWHP) - Offering refinement of timing, boost, and torque limiting tables with a small bump in overall power. Great for towing at or above the GVWR of the vehicle. Heavy Tow (+45 RWHP and 80 RWTQ) - The Heavy tow tune is designed to offer the driver as much extra power and torque as can be safely used when towing up the GVWR of the truck. EGT control on long sustained pulls as well as the ability of the trucks cooling system are taken into account. There's an emphasis on reliability under heavy use with this tune. (EGT Gauge always recommended for towing, do not exceed 1350 degrees F under sustained load.) Light Tow (+75 RWHP and 110 RWTQ) - The light tow tune is offers additional power over the heavy tow tune for when the truck is being used to haul medium and light loads. CPS usually draws the line around 8K pounds in tow. Because you're not near the GVWR, you're in less danger of stressing the cooling system and powertrain, therefore higher torque and horsepower output is allowed. (EGT Gauge always recommended for towing, do not exceed 1350 degrees F under sustained load.) Performance (+100 RWHP and 300 RWTQ) - When running unloaded it's okay to kick things up a bit and have some fun! These higher power tunes will allow the truck to hold a gear longer, improve the driving experience, and generally make you happy to look for any excuse to drive your truck. It's important to emphasize that tune 4 and 5 should only be used on well maintained trucks running unloaded (not towing!). Extreme (+140 RWHP and 350 RWTQ) - Not for everyday use, but when you need it you need it. With this kind of power your truck will become a tire shredding monster. Calibrated Power has bench marked these power levels against similar modified race trucks with off-road tuning from their competitors and none of them were able to out power them. The turbocharger design was simplified to a single compressor unit that uses many of the same parts as it's Duramax cousin. The CP4.2 high pressure pump was given a shot in the arm with an additional 10% capacity to match the uprated factory number. Calibrated Power Solutions has comfortablly pushed these trucks up nearly 200 HP over their stock configuration. with nearly 600HP to the tires they're a treat to drive. Also noteworthy on the late model 6.7L is the emission system tends to go much further between regens (350-500 miles). This digital gauge shows up to 6 user configurable gauges at a time to show you vital engine parameters. In addition to the gauge display, the nGauge features built-in diagnostics along with programmable warning lights. The nGauge features a 2.40" LCD Touch Screen and has the ability to read your stock file. Using this platform GDP can manipulate the stock files and send them back to you for an simple upload using the micro-SD slot built-in to the nGauge device. The nGauge is at home in any interior new or old with a clean look from the brushed aluminum overlay and chrome bezel. This easy-to-use gauge display and tuning platform is the perfect addition to your Powerstroke. How It Works:Because this tuning is custom made for your specific truck, the GDP nGauge will not come pre-loaded. Each unit ships with easy-to-follow instructions that include a login, password and unique order number to use on the GDP website. You will be directed to an online portal where you will be asked for information about your truck. This information includes VIN number, modifications and more. Your truck must be equipped with the factory emissions components. Once these fields are filled out and the form is submitted, the experts at GDP will build tuning specifically for your truck. Within 48 hours (business days) you will receive the tunes via email. From there you can load the tunes onto the SD Card and then into your truck. Each tuner ships with unique information.
