Description
The Ford 3C3Z-9T517-AG Blue Spring upgrade is a low-cost, must-have modification that will increase fuel pressure on your 6.0L Powerstroke. Even simple aftermarket performance upgrades can easily challenge the limits of your stock fuel system. Increasing the fuel pressure will help prevent damage to your injectors and even extend injector life. Common pressure increases can be 10-15PSI as well as increased engine performance, increased driveability and smoother power delivery.

What are the torque specs on the housing bolts? Blue spring housing bolts for the 2006 6.0, what is the recommended torque spec for the housing bolts?
The Ford service manual does not list a torque specification for the fuel pressure regulator cover bolts. You can lightly snug the bolts up. (Torque specifications are not needed in this installation.)
What does this help on a stock 6.0?
Increasing the fuel pressure will help prevent damage to your injectors and even extend injector life. Common pressure increases can be 10-15PSI as well as increased engine performance, increased driveability and smoother power delivery.
What is the degree of difficulty for installation? Where is it installed?
The "Blue Spring" Upgrade Kit can be a fairly simple installation as long as you’re familiar with the truck. (Between 25-45 minutes) – The item is installed on the side of your fuel filter housing under the hood.
Will this help MPG?
Most trucks will actually quite down at idle, rev much quicker and with the added fuel pressure it’s not unlikely to see an increase in fuel efficiency.
