Add race proven suspension technology to your Chevy Silverado or GMC Sierra 2500HD/3500HD with the Fox 980-24-968 2.0 Performance Series Reservoir Shock Absorber. These Fox Shocks utilize a metal-impacted, clear anodized aluminum shock
body that dissipates heat faster than a conventional steel body shock.
In addition, it features an external reservoir that allows for increased
oil and nitrogen capacity while delivering a striking race look. The
included black anodized reservoir mounting clamp and other components
are CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum. The race developed high flow
damping piston matched with application-specific valving provides the
FOX Performance Series 2.0 Reservoir shock a predictable ride quality
capable of handling the roughest road conditions.

Great off road response
2.0 Gas Shock Failure

Bought 4 Fox Shocks for my 2016 Chevrolet 2500 4x4 Duramax , they were awesome shocks for 14 months then had catastrophic failure on the right front shock; upper bushing cracked in 1/2 & caused metal on metal situation making a loud front end noise that was pretty easy to find , 2 weeks later same failure on the left side upper bushing , I am sure I am not the only one this has happened to since they both failed about the same time , it’s a bad design on the upper bushing due to the softness of the rubber, this truck has never been off road & is used to pull my boat so there is no abuse here, no help from Fox yet , back shocks are fine since it has a different design on the upper bushing .
