Description
The GM 12717296 Indirect Fuel Injector is a replacement for the failed injector on your GM 6.6L L5P or 2.8L LWN Duramax diesel. This indirect injector assembly, also known as the dosing valve or 9th injector, injects fuel into the exhaust aftertreatment system as part of the DPF regeneration process. Common signs of failure can include regens not completing, limp mode, or a P0420, P2463, P24A0, P20CB, or P20CC (DTC) code.
