Pump was bad out of the box

Order #2936305 pump was bad out of the box. Installed the pump in a known running 03 lb7 Duramax. Only replaced the existing CP3 because I was replacing injectors among a bunch of other items. Didn't build any rail pressure. Pulled the pump back out and reinstalled the old pump. Truck ran fine. Sent pump back under warranty. They said the regulator was bad. They put another regulator on and sent it back to me. I installed it again, and it ran but didn't seem to hold pressure very well. Took a few cranks to start. Made it 15000 miles now, and now won't build rail pressure again. I don't think the warranty will cover it now. I'll just bite the bullet and purchase a new bosch cp3 pump.
