Install went fine, can't speak for the longevity of these as I've never had them before. Break-in period is a pain.

will not telescope or rotate after installation. Been driving around for a couple of days, hoping it will break in, but I will be taking back apart because the truck is so hard to drive. Everything is torqued to spec.

Bought this pack of ball joints, showed up on time. Had everything ready to install, did the first upper on my 2018 Ram 3500, and it would not rotate or telescope after install. Called Kryptonite, they said it’s XDP’s problem, called XDP, and they didn’t want anything to do with it, and told me to call Kryptonite. Called them back and was told that’s normal, and it would break in, well, that was after I removed it due to confidence issues, and the first tech support rep at Kryptonite provided no help other than to call XDP. Installed the other Upper that I had in the kit, and sure enough same thing, wouldn’t telescope or rotate. Ended up having a contact who had the same set available for purchase locally and installed those, and holy crap, they installed beautifully, telescoped like they should, rotated perfectly. Kryptonite tried to blame me and actually told me they never have any issues, and there is no way I have bad joints right out of the box. Well, I sent video proof to them, and they said send them in to see if they qualify for a warranty exchange? I guess we will see. I will say the joint is solid, and when they work the way they should, I would probably buy again. They are American-made. I just think companies that sell products should have guidelines on what to do when a customer calls in, call them, no call them, and the back-and-forth nonsense.
