The MBRP Armor Plus 5" Quiet Tone Muffler M2220S features a high flow 5 spiral louvered core, fits most 5 exhaust systems and is a direct replacement for all MBRP 5" performance mufflers. With over triple the sound cancelling packing it eliminates drone under load or towing conditions and delivers up to a 10% dB noise reduction compared to our regular performance muffler.

We purchased on of these mufflers for a truck with a straight 5 inch system, it was super rowdy! We wanted to tame it down some, and make sure cab drone wasn't excessive. The truck still sounds great, but at a much more respectable level. It isn't a cheaply made muffler, to get good quality you have to pay for it. Money well spent on this one.

Is there a performance difference between the regular 5" performance muffler and the quiet tone? 2014 Ram cummins
No there is not. The Quiet Tone will just be quieter in comparison to the standard muffler. Both are a straight flow-through design.
Can this MBRP Quiet Tone muffler be paired with any 5 inch exhaust system, or does it have to be an MBRP system?
The MBRP M2220S 5" Stainless Steel Quiet Tone Muffler should work on any 5" exhaust system with a 31" straight section of pipe you can insert it in.
