The Mean Green Alternator's tool steel rotorshaft is supported at both ends by heavy duty double sealed bearings. Even the heavy duty solid copper starter windings are sealed with high temperature insulation. That's one reason Mean Green include a 1 year Warranty at no charge on every alternator.
Special new castings permit use of stock bracketry and bolt hole locations. Even the stock wiring harness can be used for easy plug in. Designed to out last and out perform any other unit. Purchased this from XDP 10/20/2019 invoice # 1643677A. The mean green alternator gave out on me 1/27/23 so at the $370 I paid in 2019 it cost me over $120 per year to maintain my batteries. If these are only gonna last a couple of years I'll just keep using re-mans at less than half the price. I don't see the value at the price for these things. 3 stars. one for each year it actually worked.
