The Merchant Automotive 20219 Torque Converter Removal & Install Tool helps you remove the converter in the Allison 1000 on your GM 6.6L Duramax LB7/LLY/LBZ/LMM/LML/L5P. Just thread the Tool into any GM torque converter using 10 x 1.5mm torque converter bolts to get a firm grip that makes it easier to install and remove heavy converters in closed bell housings. This tool helps eliminate the potential danger of the converter slipping out of your hands, crushing your fingers, or cutting yourself on the bell housing.
