Mishimoto Low Temperature Coolant Thermostats MMTS-CHV-01DL

I saw temperature decrease by 10+ deg. My truck ran at 190+ before and now it will hardly budge 180deg most of the time, it’s around 178. Def worth the money. I have them on all my duramax trucks.

Dropped me about 10 degrees from stock. Not much of a change unless your pulling a load then it takes a little longer to worm up. In other words it buys you a little more time on an incline. #1428045

The bad reviews on these thermostats are more than likely from guys/girls who think that replacing them will solve their overheating problems. (If you take a dump in your garden and your tomatoes don't grow better, don't get mad at your butthole!) They're not taking into consideration the internal buildup of debris in their radiators and intercoolers, or the external buildup of debris on the fins of both as well. I replaced my stock thermostats without any issues and I have been running cooler temps since then- but I also did a coolant flush, cleaned the fins with foaming condenser coil cleaner (for HVAC units but it works the same for vehicles), and replaced things that needed replaced along the way because I'm not a doofus.... don't be a doofus. If your truck is still over heating after all of that, then check the junk tuner you added. Or maybe chickity check yourself because you're a bad driver and you don't know how to operate your rig.

#1112626 these have been in my truck for a while now and I love them temps are about 10 degrees cooler than factory.

I have had these installed for 2+ years in my truck. Its a daily driver that hauls a 25' gooseneck. Temperatures here are normally over 110 in the summer months. I have NEVER seen my trucks temp get above 210 degrees with these installed. My truck has the LLY with the known cooling issues but this works great to keep it running cooler. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a cooler truck in a warmer environment or anyone working there truck often! I don't understand the negative review... these are a great product.
