The Mishimoto MMTS-WRA-87L Low Temperature Thermostat is engineered to improve the cooling efficiency of your 1997-1999 GM 6.5L Diesel. This thermostat will promote increased cooling efficiency by significantly lowering high engine temperatures. Once the engine is up to operating temperature, the Mishimoto low-temperature thermostat will open at a lower temperature (180°F) compared to stock thermostats (195°F).
