MOOG ES3488 Inner Tie Rod

The MOOG ES3488 Inner Tie Rod is a high-quality replacement for the worn-out unit in your 2001-2010 GM 2500HD/3500HD. This tie rod removes axial clearance or lash thanks to the cover plate design that captures the full-ball stud between the upper and lower bearings. This design always generates just the correct amount of preload to provide the appropriate steering effort over the service life of the part. 

Forged using high-quality materials and then heat-treated for harness, the MOOG tie-rod housing obtains the most advantageous grain structure for strength and durability. This tie rod will have a longer service life as it is sealed with premium polychloroprene to keep out dirt and sand. A grease relief valve is included on these tie rods that allows debris to be cleared out when the truck is being serviced. The bearings come with grease grooves that ensure the flow of grease throughout the part.
