If you are like me and have watched all the different tests done on the air intakes, you know that the factory one is just the same if not better than all the aftermarket ones that cost hundreds of dollars! I have stayed with the stock setup and the stock filter, which is a great filter nowadays, not like years ago when they were junk. The newer trucks are set up and extremely sensitive, especially for fuel and air flow, and the stock set up with the factory filter is the best set up if your truck is stock with no tunes! Not to mention that if anything goes wrong and is under warranty, you'd better have stock factory parts or the dealer will blame the aftermarket part, whether it's an air filter, fuel filter, or anything else, they will deny a warranty claim anyway they can and I've seen them do it!
