The Oracle 5908-001 LED Off-Road Side Mirror Ditch Lights will light up the road in front of your Ford F-250/350/450/550 Super Duty. This innovative product features a set of high-powered LED light bars incorporated into factory-style side mirrors of the Ford Super Duty Trucks! This integration allows for easy installation and a sleek, almost factory appearance while delivering functional peripheral illumination for the driver. The LEDs on these units are a custom design that features a total of 24 LEDs producing approximately 2250 lumens. Each unit has a 45-degree beam angle to optimize the driver's peripheral visibility.

Functionality
Why is peripheral visibility important? Factory headlights and most auxiliary lights only illuminate the area in front of the truck. Ideally for off-road driving, such as trail riding, the driver needs to be able to clearly see the area on the sides of the trail to spot obstructions. These obstructions might otherwise go unnoticed and could be a potential hazard.

Innovation
Besides being functional, these LED Mirrors look outstanding as well! The LED light bar is a custom design that features a total of 24 Cree LEDs. These LED lights give the driver increased visibility and peripheral illumination. Each unit has a 45-degree beam angle to optimize the driver's peripheral visibility for riding in the wilderness or in the desert. Multiple aluminum heat sinks are used to efficiently dissipate heat away from the LEDs and are engineered to use the airflow through the mirror housing to increase cooling, similar to a radiator.

Durability
The housing for the lights is made from rugged Polycarbonate that is 2x stronger than the factory ABS housing. These mirror lights bolt onto the vehicle using factory mounts for easy installation. A set of anodized rock guards protects the acrylic LED lenses, which also hold the DBM Reflex LED optics. These efficient optics focus the light for optimal visibility from the driver's position.

Function
Unlike other "Ditch-Lights" which look like an afterthought, the Side-mirror is the only part of the truck engineered to be in the driver's field of vision while driving. This makes the side mirror the perfect location to mount effective and functional lighting to enhance driver visibility during nighttime trail rides. The driver needs to be able to clearly see the area on both sides of the truck to spot obstructions, which could go unnoticed and be a potential hazard.

Design
Oracle's goal in developing this product was to create an LED light bar that could be seamlessly integrated into the vehicle design in a way that appears to be stock. Light bars tacked to bumpers and roof racks have poor integration and look like an afterthought. These mirrors provide the best of both worlds: a functional purpose and look good doing it!
