Description
The PPE 117000600 3" Stainless Steel Downpipe for your 2011-2015 GM 6.6L Duramax LML allows you to remove your crushed oval stock downpipe and replace it with a smooth round, long-lasting 304 stainless steel downpipe. Spiral wrapped with titanium woven thread for superior heat that's held in place with stainless steel clamps.

Note:
2015 model year customers must check whether they have a V-band style clamp or a triangular 3-bolt style flange. This downpipe fits early 2015 trucks with v-band style flange only.

The (incredibly restrictive) stock piece makes absolutely no sense to me. Once I installed this (having a second person help will make your life much easier), I noticed an immediate change to throttle response. The truck seems to actually breathe now. Day after install, dragged the boat to the lake and noticed about a 50-degree reduction in EGTs when climbing hills. Why GM didn't put a real downpipe on is baffling but thank god for the aftermarket. You won't regret this one.
