Coolant flow can be restricted as the stock thermostat housing corrodes due to blockages. This thermostat housing bridge is composed of high-strength, cast-aluminum for long-term durability. This thermostat housing is a direct fit for OEM cylinder heads and works with the stock thermostat housing, thermostats, and temperature sensor.

Not a lot of options out there for this part. I went with this a few months ago and put it on my truck. No leaks from what I can see. Holding up so far. No complaints.

Item was delivered and installed on truck only to find that it had a porous hole in it and was leaking antifreeze badly. Had to purchase another one from XDP because they would not warranty the defective one until we sent pictures and PPE who made the part agreed to warranty it. I would like to remind XDP that I did not buy the part from PPE, I bought it from XDP. XDP should stand behind the products they sell. I am already out the hours of labor to replace this defective part and now I am out the money to purchase another part until XDP gets approval from PPE to refund me. Shameful in my opinion and I will look elsewhere to buy parts for my business in the future.
