The PPE 119000730 Coolant Bypass Tube - Polished (Water Pump to Thermostat Housing) from XDP is a durable replacement for the rusted coolant tube on your 2006-2010 Silverado/Sierra 2500HD/3500HD 6.6 Duramax LBZ/LMM. Over time the factory steel tube begins to rust which eventually leads to leaks. This tube is made from fully polished 304 stainless steel which provides a great look and better corrosion resistance. Designed as a direct-fit replacement, this pipe mounts right to the factory water pump.

Shipping was super fast, well packaged. My only gripe was that the fitment was really bad. I couldn't get it to line up with the water pump at all, and in the process of installing it, the O-ring split, so I had to put the OEM tube back in.

The part itself is fine, but the o-ring provided does not seal the half that plugs into the thermostat housing. You will more than likely need to source a thicker O-ring if you want it sealed properly.

Fits great except for the side port

Fit between my water pump and thermostat housing is great. The side port that goes to a hose is bigger than factory so you either have to to force a 3/8" hose onto a 1/2" tube or use 1/2" hose and hope your clamps can squeeze it down to seal on the other end when it's on a 3/8" tube. Very nicely made, I just don't like the hose issue on the side and how it's not noted anywhere. Maybe the tube is bigger on later models but not my 2002.

High quality fabrication, fit perfect. An upgrade would be higher quality O-rings but the ones sent match OEM.
