Description
Improve the steering system on your 2020-2024 GM Silverado/Sierra 1500 with the PPE 158219000 Forged Tie Rod Kit. This kit features a 32% larger-diameter forged sleeve, 27% larger-diameter toe adjusting shaft, and 14% larger, stronger ball studs. The outer tie rod end includes a spring-loaded ball-stud seat that maintains constant pressure and OEM steering knuckle taper. The inner tie rod end is adjustable through the end cap and contains a powdered metal ball seat as well as a rubber shim for clearance compensation.

Note:
PPE Tie Rods are engineered to fit GM stock steering components. Some aftermarket steering manufacturers have changed the placement of the tie rod mounting perch on the front spindle, which then requires a shorter tie rod. The Stage3 Tie Rod outers are fully threaded internally and may be trimmed to accommodate the relocated aftermarket perch location. An experienced installer should measure to determine the appropriate trim length.Overextending the tie rod angle might cause damage to the inner tie rod or outer ball stud retaining assembly. Common causes include steep tie rod steering rack angles, and overextension of modified suspensions.

The website states these will fit my truck. It has a factory lift package. The website and instructions state you may need to trim them to fit if you have a lift kit. Even after trimming them per THEIR instructions, they were still too long. I tried to return them, and they say they can't take them back because we trimmed them... per their instructions. Do NOT buy these if you have any kind of lift on your truck... factory, or not.

The PPE 158219000 Forged Tie Rod Kit come with assembly lube but PPE encourages 2-3 pumps of a hand pump to make it the full oil change interval to the next greasing.
