The PPE 314030310 Heavy Duty Oil Cooler & Gasket Kit increases engine reliability and cooling efficiency of your Ford 6.0L Powerstroke. The factory oil cooler is designed with small oil flow passages and is plagued by clogs from contaminants, gasket material, corrosion, sludge, etc. When this happens it sends hot oil to the turbo, injectors, oil pump and main bearings - stressing these parts, eventually leading to failure. Another major problem is the factory oil cooler has been known to crack which causes unwanted fluid transfer and leads to catastrophic engine failure.

Okay cooler

The cooler came a little dirty not a deal killer I guess. The actual loss of stars is for the gaskets. They don’t even compare to OEM. Very thin in comparison. My recommendation to a friend would be get the cooler it’s (PPE brand I wish they stated that) but buy a oem gasket set.
