Excessive heat destroys transmission internals and scorches fluid but this cast aluminum pan provides superior cooling over the factory plastic pan. The PPE 10R80 Deep Transmission Pan is manufactured from cast aluminum with interior and exterior fins that help transfer heat away from the transmission. This pan features a high-power Neodymium magnet-equipped drain plug to keep destructive ferrous metal contaminants out of the transmission fluid. The factory pan is made of plastic without a drain plug. This PPE Pan offers more accessible fluid services that allow you to simply drain, plug, and refill without a trans-fluid shower.
