Factory coolant hose T fittings are molded hose or made out of plastic and are prone to cracking at junctions, causing coolant loss. Replace your worn or leaky factory coolant hose system with PPE's Performance Silicone Coolant Hose Kit.
Perfect for your stock or highly modified Duramax 6.6L diesel truck. Engineered for performance and durability, featuring 4-ply heat-resistant internal fibers that provide strength against high-pressures and temperatures. PPE's Silicone Coolant Hose Kits incorporate TIG welded, polished 304 stainless steel T-fittings that eliminate any chance of failures at the T junctions. Durable 5 mm thick silicone is twice as thick as the factory hose to ensure long-lasting performance. The quick-connect/disconnect end is made from billet aluminum and 304 stainless steel. Worm-drive clamps with W-style inner liners ensure a tight fit that performs better than factory. The only problem that I had was the positioning of the lower hose billet aluminum connection. It was out of position by about 90°, and I didn’t notice it until everything else was connected. That took a little bit of work trying to get it spun around in that very confined space, but other than that, the install was straightforward, and it’s obviously a great product!

Put these hose on in 2021 and I pulled them off in 2023 never as I was able to stop them from leaking. Put stock hose back on, no more leaks.

Installed the hose this past weekend. Much more difficult than anticipated and isn't an exact fit replacement for the original hose. That said, the quality seems to be good so I'm hoping that they last a good long time. A couple of things to note regarding: (1) be sure to tighten the hose clamps as they don't come snugged down (there's a note about this in the box), (2) the connection to the radiator is indexed. The hose I received had the index 180 degress away from where it needed to be. Big pain in the rear to rotate it around .
So far everything but the main hose is good

Shipped quickly, no issues, great quality, only thing is to remember to tighten all clamps around the tees before installing so you don't forget and have a coolant leak.
