The PSC SP1404 High Performance Power Steering Pump is an upgrade for your 2001-2010 GM 6.6L Duramax. This pump is brand new, not remanufactured. The heart of the 1400 pump is a larger ring and rotor which displaces more fluid per revolution. This makes it the pump of choice for trucks that operate at low engine RPM's and have extensive steering modifications.

I decided to upgrade my stock pump while replacing all the lines and upgrading the Hydro boost to a post 2011 unit. I was expecting a much better improvement in steering wheel effort with these upgrades.

If you don’t have one of these on your truck you’re really missing out. My LLY struggled bad with steering especially at low speeds now it’s as easy as turning with your pinky. It arrived super fast and in great shape!
