The Racor PFF4245R2-04 ParFit Fuel Filter Head Assembly is a direct replacement for your 2001-2004 GM 6.6L Duramax LB7. Over time, the seals in the factory filter head are known to leak causing issues such as hard starting, air leaks, and priming issues. This replacement unit is constructed with durable materials to withstand the stress and rigors or daily driving. Replacing the entire assembly eliminates the hassle of having to rebuild the unit.

Been running B100 (renewable diesel) which is what COSTCO sells at select locations here in Cali. Filter head seals leaked (common) and lost fuel vacuum. Decided to replace entire filter head. This appears to be an OEM part, high quality. Took about an hour to R&R. Fixed problem. Dealer wanted $700 for part w/o filter, this comes with 2 micron and new water drain. Don't get stranded, replace your filter head if running bio or it's 20+ y/o like mine was. Replace the under-hood rubber lines too. XDP is great, I'll be back!

Even after 2 rebuild attempts my old head wouldn't stop leaking after I had installed a lift pump. Was having a hard time finding a new one for the old LB7, XDP had this exact replacement at a very good price especially considering it comes with a new filter.
