I would think with the cost of this kit that they would make it plug and play but the harness has to be wired in. At that rate, might as well run the wires yourself. I was able to find where a group is manufacturing brand-new factory wiring harnesses for these trucks so I bought both this one and the factory one but definitely worth it. Would not buy this harness though!
