The S&B Filters 88-0008 Precision II Air Filter Cleaning & Oil Kit (Red) from XDP comes with everything you need to properly clean and maintain your vehicle's air filter. The first step to properly cleaning your air filter is to thoroughly clean the outside of the filter with a rag and then apply the S&B Filter Cleaner that is included in the Kit. The Filter Cleaner helps to break down debris and penetrates deep into the filter to ensure the filter is as clean as possible. After the air filter has sat to dry for 24 hours, the filter is ready to be re-oiled. This cleaning & oil kit includes red oil and S&B's re-engineered oil applicator that keeps you from over-oiling or under-oiling your filter. This kit includes enough product to service your filter about three times and comes in a reusable box to keep everything organized.

How often should you clean/ reoil filter, street use, non-dusty, rule of thumb miles unless looks dirty?
For oiled filters: The cleaning interval will depend on your driving conditions. We recommend that you inspect your filter every oil change or 6,000 miles. If debris has built up on your filter equal to the height of the wire mesh, your filter should be cleaned and oiled. Servicing your filter more frequently will result in better performance. At a minimum, the air filter should be properly serviced using a precision cleaning & oiling kit every 12,000 miles.
