S&B Tanks 10-1024 47-Gallon Midship Replacement Fuel Tank

The S&B Tanks 10-1024 47-Gallon Midship Replacement Fuel Tank allows you to go farther in your 2007-2018 Sprinter 2500/3500 Van 2.0L & 3.0L Diesel (SRW). This tank features 1/4” thick crosslink polyethylene construction and will last the life of your truck.

This fuel tank includes everything you need to replace the 24-gallon tank in your Sprinter with this 47-gallon tank. The tank mounts in the factory location with an included rear strap and occupies the space forward and rearward of the factory tank. This unit doesn’t stick out any farther toward the driver’s side than the factory tank and only hangs down an additional 1.5”.

The fuel gauge will remain accurate even with more fuel on board thanks to this tank’s design. The gauge will stay on full until the first 5-7 gallons are used, then continue to move as normal. The distance to empty will no longer be accurate since it is calculated based on the factory fuel capacity. As an example, @ 20mpg and a full tank of fuel, the distance to empty will show 480 miles but, you will actually have 940 miles until empty.

2009-2019 Coachman Prism 3.0L Diesel 

This tank will not fit 170" Crew Vans or 144" Dually Vans.

Part # 10-1026 will work for the 170" Crew Vans and 144" Dually Vans. (See related Items)

This tank will also not work with vans that have ride height sensors connected to the rear axle.

The fuel gauge will only work accurately on vans with the J51 fuel gauge (optimized for aux. fuel tap).
