XDP has the Sun Coast SC-68RFE-GREY New Solenoid Pack that is a massive upgrade for the 68RFE transmission in your 2011-2018 Ram 6.7L Diesel. A remanufactured solenoid pack is undesirable for the following reasons: It is well known that the solenoid pack has a history of failure. Debris, such as metals, clutch material, and other debris, are circulated throughout the transmission when it fails. It's very likely that debris found its way into the solenoids. The debris in the solenoids has not gone away. The stock boards on these solenoid packs flex, creating false pressure switch errors through testing by to Sun Coast and Chrysler. Even if you spend 5+ hours restoring the flow rate and spray pattern, the board is still fatigued. It's possible that this will result in false codes and drivability concerns. Sun Coast rectifies this by tossing out the OEM solenoid pack in favor of a new OEM unit from the manufacturer.
