The High Heat Coating includes extra resins and binders that prevent penetration from harmful liquids, protect the wrap from friction, and toughen the surface. The Black Hi-Heat Coating has the ability to handle direct and continuous heat of 2000 degrees when paired with Thermo-Tec Exhaust Insulating Products and can be used as a paint on metal surfaces that can handle temperatures up to 1200 degrees Fahrenheit.

The Thermo Tec Hi-Heat Coating (Black) #12001 can withstand 2000 degrees Fahrenheit when used with Thermo Tec Exhaust Wrap. The coasting can be used without the exhaust wrap and still withstand 1200 degrees Fahrenheit.
