Description
Enhance the shifting and performance characteristics of the Allison 6-speed transmission in your 2006-2010 GM 2500HD/3500HD truck with an Allison 1000, 2000, and 2400 series transmission. This TransGo Shift Kit includes the valve body components you need to provide substantial gains in friction plate durability.
Once installed, the friction torque capacity of the holding clutches and brakes in 2nd through 6th gear is increased by approximately 100% when the lock-up clutch is off at max line pressure. Because you do not need to remove the transmission for installation, this kit is highly recommended to prevent internal transmission damage when horsepower is increased.
Corrects/Prevents/Reduces:

Found transmission shift smoother. install is not as simple as you might think took about 4 hours need to rip out the valve body and split it apart to install new parts. Do some reasearch before attempt my buddy works at allison he gave me a hand need to be careful with the plate you drill in between the valve body very fragile because that is your seal for the oil passages if it you damage it, it will cause problems in pressure Be careful! but good product! i have it on ppe level 4 in lbz so far so good!
