    Description

    Enhance the shifting and performance characteristics of the Allison 6-speed transmission in your 2006-2010 GM 2500HD/3500HD truck with an Allison 1000, 2000, and 2400 series transmission. This TransGo Shift Kit includes the valve body components you need to provide substantial gains in friction plate durability.

    Once installed, the friction torque capacity of the holding clutches and brakes in 2nd through 6th gear is increased by approximately 100% when the lock-up clutch is off at max line pressure. Because you do not need to remove the transmission for installation, this kit is highly recommended to prevent internal transmission damage when horsepower is increased.

    Corrects/Prevents/Reduces:
    Slip 3-4
    Neutralizes under load in 3rd or 4th
    Burnt C2 and C3 friction plates
    Stuck in one gear
    Codes: P0732, P0733, P0734, P0735, P0766 and P0777

    I was having issues with my trans slipping under heavy load while towing. I installed new torque converter, filters, and fluid. Figured since i was in the pan anyways, this may be a cheap upgrade. Trans seems to shift much better and i cannot get it to slip anymore.
