Walker 240-91022 Vehicle Speed (VSS) Sensor With Pigtail

Replace the failed VSS in your GM Truck/SUV (See Applications) with a Walker 240-91022 Vehicle Speed (VSS) Sensor With Pigtail from XDP. The vehicle speed sensor uses the output from your transmission, differential, or the wheel itself to relay the speed of the vehicle. Vehicle speed sensors often fail as they are likely to see issues from road hazards that can cause misalignment or damage. In addition, the repetition of extreme heat and cold, known as "heat cycling", can break down internal circuitry over time. Faulty wiring and damaged connectors from heat cycling and other contaminants can cause the sensor to stop functioning. If the vehicle's speedometer is not working or giving strange readings it can be another sign of a defective sensor.
