Description
Service the fuel system in your 2007.5-2009 Dodge 6.7L Diesel with the XDP Fuel Filter Adapter With CAT 1R-0750 Filter XD391. The XDP Cat Filter Adapter features a CNC-machined, billet aluminum filter head that is designed to replace the stock filter assembly. The new filter head is designed to accept the CAT 1R-0750 Advanced High Efficiency fuel filter to provide your engine with excellent filtration and protection.
The XD391 features a bolt-on installation by mounting the new fuel filter head in place of the factory housing. Removing the factory housing helps to eliminate common issues like cracking, leaks, or seizing with the plastic filter canister design. Each kit comes ready to install with filter head, CAT 1R-0750 fuel filter, fuel filter delete (for factory low-pressure lines) and the necessary hardware for installation.

Really high quality fittings and pretty easy to put together once you figure out where everything threads into. Just takes a little bit to figure out where everything goes and I wish it came with instructions. No instructions is the only reason for 4 stars.

Aftermarket fuel filter assembly

I was very impressed with the quality of the product and speed of delivery on the aftermarket fuel filter assembly I ordered. I do wish they included some basic instruction on the assembly though I'm sure it will be fairly straightforward. The lack of instructions is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

Does this cut out the WIF sensor or does it have a port for it still?
The XDP 6.7L CAT Filter Adapter XD391 will retain the WIF sensor but it will remove the factory heating element.
Are there any replacement filters that are interchangeable with the CAT 1R-0750 Filter?
Yes, the Donaldson P551313 Filter can also be used with this kit.
Can I add a fuel pressure sensor in the top threaded port to test for lift pump failure and what’s the thread specs and do you recommend anything sensor or gauge?
The port on top of the XDP Fuel Filter Adapter With CAT 1R-0750 Filter XD391 is 1/8" NPT and you can use it to read fuel pressure.
