XDP Engine Oil Cooler Flush Kit XD397

Backflush the oil cooler in your 2003-2007 Ford 6.0L Powerstroke as part of your preventative maintenance routine with the XDP Engine Oil Cooler Flush Kit XD397. The factory oil cooler in your 6.0L Powerstroke is often problematic due to blocked cooling passages from leftover casting sand and other debris in your cooling system. It is not uncommon for 6.0L Powerstroke owners to be on their second or third oil cooler while trying to remedy issues like high engine oil temperatures or EGR cooler failure.

Rather than replacing the oil cooler each time debris accumulates, the XDP Engine Oil Cooler Flush Kit gives you a quick and easy way to eliminate the hassle of replacing the oil cooler saving you time, money, and the need for unnecessary repairs.

Simply bolt the XDP Oil Cooler Flush Adapter Tool onto the coolant port on top of the oil cooler. Once it is installed all you will need is a standard garden hose to get started. With the hose on, the water flows in the reverse direction to help dislodge the contaminants in your oil cooler. Once the flush is performed, remove the Oil Cooler Service Adapter Tool and store it for later use.
