Upgrade the fuel system on your 2010-2018 Ram 6.7L diesel with the XDP Fuel Filter Adapter With CAT 1R-0750 Filter XD381. The XD381 features a billet aluminum fuel filter head that replaces the stock fuel filter and allows you to mount the CAT 1R-0750 Advanced High Efficiency fuel filter under the hood of your truck. Removing the stock filter housing also eliminates the problematic plastic cap that is known to break and seize. Each filter head is built from an ultra-durable billet aluminum construction and comes complete with the necessary components for an easy installation.

Fit and finish of adapter was great. Quality Parker style fittings and continental hose were included. The instructions were easy to follow. I did encounter a small hiccup, my water in fuel sensor harness would not reach the new location. A quick call to tech support confirmed I wasn’t the only person that has experienced this. Great value and an easy upgrade. This filter is significantly easier to change than the factory design, offers equal or better filtration, and cost less than half of an OEM/fleetguard filter.

Took about 3 hours after finding a video on how to put it on but, after running it I notice a slight increase in steady power from the truck. Changing the filters is now so much easier and I don’t have to run cats if I don’t wanna. Anything that fits that thread currently has a Wix when I needed to swap out the cat

Mostly good design. Would have been better if the original fuel line could be used on the injector pump side. Really no room to tighten the fitting at cp3 pump. The original just slides on and locks in place by itself.

Installed in a hour or 2 outside in the rain. I see some guys saying you need a 3rd 90 and I assure you that you do NOT. Super simple install even without instructions. Couldn't be happier.
