Description
Replace the faulty alternator in your 2003-2007 Ford 6.0L Powerstroke with the XDP High Output Alternator (New) XD362. The XD362 produces higher output over the factory unit. This keeps your battery fully charged and your truck ready for all types of electric aftermarket upgrades such as off-road lights, horn kits, and more. A faulty alternator will cause your truck to experience dead batteries, dim lighting, check engine lights, and it can also leave you stranded. The XDP Direct Replacement Alternator comes pre-tested and ready for installation.

Installation Note:
In some applications the factory alternator wiring harness eyelet may need to be slightly enlarged to fit the larger stud.
This alternator is a direct-fit replacement for trucks with a single alternator and also a direct-fit replacement primary for vehicles equipped with dual alternators.

Been daily driving with it for 9 months now. No issues. Keeps batteries at 14.0 - 14.3 while running. Don't get higher than that. Haven't seen it drop less than 13.8 . Also have the big 3 cable upgrade.

Does what it’s supposed to. Keeps the voltage where it should. I recommend to get this alternator to keep those batteries charged and FICM alive as much as possible.
