The XDP Exhaust Manifold - Driver Side XD342 is a direct-fit replacement for the "dented" or "kinked" exhaust manifold in your 2001-2010 GM 6.6L Duramax. On the 2011-2016 LML models, this manifold is a direct-replacement for the LML trucks as they already come with this style of exhaust manifold. This manifold features a durable cast construction and includes the gaskets needed for installation.

Was supposed to be a direct bolt on from 2001-2016. On LBZ had to modify 2 of the ears due to oversized casting in order to make it past the coolant tube running from the water pump to the oil cooler.

Overall the manifold fit ok. When sliding over the 2 exhaust studs in the head it was hitting on the water pipe below it. I pulled the manifold and ground down the bottom edge to get it to clear without hitting. The up pipe gasket that it comes with is junk and I wouldn’t use it.

Fit as described. Works great! Gaskets were correct as well. Just be aware that this does not come with a heat shield so if you’re updating an older duramax from the pinched off manifold the heat shield will not fit on this manifold. I would also recommend buying new bolts for the up pipe as most the time you’ll break or strip out the stock ones on your vehicle.

Nice piece, perfect fit. Obviously no heat shield at this price. Knocked a star because the casting wasnt cleaned up on the inside. 15 minutes with the dremel cleaned it up real nice.

The holes on the bottom that the bolts use to mount to the head had thicker material and the coolant tube that runs under the driver side manifold was hitting it. I just had to use a grinder and remove the excess. Better than the factory though.
