Keep your Ford 6.0L and 6.4L Powerstroke running properly with the XDP Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor XD1042. The ECT sensor monitors your coolant temperature and relays that information back to the ECM. If this sensor fails or begins to fail you may notice erratic temperature readings, diagnostic trouble codes, and several other issues.
XDP Sensors are built using high-quality components and materials to ensure accurate performance, fast response, and proper communication with the electronic systems in your truck. Each sensor is manufactured to meet the OE specifications and installs in the factory location for a hassle-free replacement.
Features:
- Direct-Fit Replacement
- (ECT) - Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor
- Manufactured With Premium Quality Materials
- Sensor Location: Found at Base of Thermostat Housing (6.0L & 6.4L)
- Built to OE-Specifications For Consistent and Reliable Function
Sensor Location Note:
On both Ford 6.0L and 6.4L Powerstroke trucks, the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor is located near the base of the thermostat housing. The 6.4L engine bay is more compact, making the sensor harder to access when compared to the 6.0L models.
