With a 220 Amp output, this alternator almost doubles the factory output. The XDP High Output Alternator (New) XD224 is a direct bolt-on replacement and requires no modifications for installation. Each alternator comes pre-tested and is ready for installation.

OEM 145A alternator finally gave up after 20 years of continuous service. SO I figured I'd try out this 220A alternator. Easy replacement. So far, so good. Less than a month of usage in brutal cold winters here in the northeast. Seems to be charging well. I hope it lasts as long as OEM AC DELCO did.
