Adjustable compressor and turbine housing orientation allow you to “clock” the turbo into the correct position to fit your specific needs. The compressor cover recirculation grooves trap and segregate the tip leakage flow, therefore preventing the growth of the blockage and increasing efficiency. Some of the turbochargers are offered with a twin-scroll turbine housing (also referred to as divided housings) with a twin volute. The twin volute can enhance boost response when used with a twin-scroll exhaust manifold.
