Heat Shields

Their Form-A-Sheild is Capable of withstanding direct heat up to 1400F and can be applied to exhaust headers, manifolds, turbo housings, and downpipes to significantly reduce radiant exhaust temperatures. Manufactured from 10 mil dimpled aluminum bonded to a high temperature rated Basalt thermal barrier material, Form-A-Shield can be applied to help lower under-hood temperatures while keeping more heat in the exhaust.

Exhaust Wrap

All of DEI’s Titanium Exhaust Wrap with LR Technology is manufactured from pulverized lava rock that has been stranded into a fiber material and woven into a patented weave. This wrap is designed to be pliable and resistant to chemical & oil spills and vibration breakdown. It secures tightly without pre-wetting and can withstand direct heat up to 1800F and intermittent heat exposure up to 2500F. DEI’s Titanium Wrap can help maximize horsepower and performance by lowering underhood temperatures and maintaining high exhaust gas velocity. Wrapped manifolds and exhaust pipes reduce heat soak, prevent harmful burns, and protect heat-sensitive underhood components like wire wiring, or fuel lines. This wrap can also reduce the level of heat transferred through the firewall and floor of the vehicle for a cooler interior.
