XDP Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor XD1027

The XDP Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor XD1027 is a direct-fit OE-style replacement for a failed MAF sensor on select Ford Powerstroke trucks. If the factory sensor fails, your engine can lose accurate measurement of incoming air, which can result in rough running conditions, and diagnostic trouble codes. This XDP sensor restores proper airflow data to your engine's computer so to restore proper fueling, performance, and throttle response, so your engine operates the way it should.

The Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor is mounted in the intake tube of the air intake system. This sensor is removed during installation of a cold air intake or sometimes when servicing the intake system. While replacing a properly functioning MAF sensor is not required, it is generally a good practice to inspect and clean the sensor, or replace it if necessary, whenever it is removed for intake service or performance upgrades.
