Upgrading the harmonic balancer (also known as a crankshaft vibration damper) when you increase your diesel's power output is vital for prolonged engine life. The Performance Balancer Series from XDP are designed to withstand the demands of modified diesel engines. Constructed with a Billet Steel Ring and Hub, the XDP Performance Balancers use an ultra-reliable pressure-bonded technology to bond the steel hub to the steel inertia ring. These balancers are engineered to meet SFI 18.1 specifications and are approved for race use. In addition, the balancers are dynamically balanced for smooth operation.
