This water pump is a direct-fit replacement that's manufactured to meet the factory specifications providing you with a perfect fit, finish, and function. Each unit includes a new o-ring and comes ready for installation.
If shopping by OEM cross reference numbers, there are many water pumps that cover the 5.9L and 6.7L engines and many versions that have been superseded over the years. This water pump has an iron impeller which is an upgrade over the plastic impeller that was originally equipped on many models.

Found this pump with metal impellers instead of the plastic! Bought it because I had purchased a cold case radiator, thought I may as well replace pump while I was there. Come to find out my pump was weeping enough along with radiator leaking that we could not evacuate system with snap on tools. Great product, thicker o-ring than oreallys supplied.

Long story short; 2010 ram 2500. Needed to get this baby dialed back in. Drove across the country and after got a check engine and a puddle of coolant on the pavement. Did the water pump and thermostat in one go. Solved the issue immediately. And the construction of the XDP pump is obviously more sturdy than OEM. Truck runs cool, no more leak or light.
