This kit eliminates the vacuum disconnect found in the front axle and replaces the two piece axle shaft with a one piece 4340 Chromoly axle, ensuring reliable 4wd performance. No having to worry if your 4wd is working this season or fumbling with cable lockers which need adjustment and can cause partial engagement issues. Yukon also includes a vacuum block-off plate, gasket, and axle seal so you can get the job done right the first time.
